ആശാ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ സമരവേദിയിൽ നിന്ന് തന്നെ ‘ഇറക്കിവിട്ടതല്ല’ എന്ന് യൂത്ത് കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് രാഹുൽ മാങ്കൂട്ടത്തിൽ. തന്നെ സമരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറക്കിവിട്ടു എന്ന തരത്തിൽ പ്രചരിച്ച വാർത്തകൾ സമരത്തെ ഒറ്റിക്കൊടുക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന ചില ‘കുത്തിത്തിരിപ്പ് മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ’ സൃഷ്ടിയാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആരോപിച്ചു [00:13].

നേരത്തെ പോയത് ട്രെയിൻ യാത്രയ്ക്കായി:

നിയമസഭാ ബഹിഷ്കരണത്തിന് പിന്നാലെ, ശനിയാഴ്ചത്തെ പരിപാടികളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നതിനായി തനിക്ക് കേരളയിലേക്ക് പോകേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു. ട്രെയിൻ സമയം നഷ്ടപ്പെടാതിരിക്കാനായി സമരനേതാക്കളെ വിളിച്ച് നേരത്തെ യാത്ര ക്രമീകരിക്കണമെന്ന് താൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു [00:34] എന്നും രാഹുൽ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. പ്രസംഗിച്ച ശേഷം പോകാമെന്ന് സദാശിവൻ മാഷ്, മിനി ചേച്ചി, പ്രേമ ചേച്ചി എന്നിവർ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും, താൻ പരിപാടി നടന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്നു [01:13]. റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിലേക്ക് പോകുമ്പോഴാണ് തന്നെ ഇറക്കിവിട്ടു എന്ന വാർത്ത കണ്ടതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

‘ഇവരെൻ്റെ അമ്മമാർ’:

ആശാപ്രവർത്തകരെ തൻ്റെ അമ്മമാരായിട്ടാണ് [01:43] കാണുന്നതെന്നും, അമ്മമാർ മക്കളെ ഇറക്കിവിടില്ലെന്നും, മക്കൾ ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോകില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു. സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ കൊള്ളരുതായ്മകൾക്ക് മൂടുപടം നൽകാനായി അച്ചാരം വാങ്ങിയ ചില മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരാണ് ഇത്തരം കുത്തിത്തിരിപ്പുകൾ നടത്തുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം വിമർശിച്ചു [02:34].

പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവിനെതിരായ പ്രചാരണം:

പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് വി.ഡി. സതീശൻ താൻ പോയ ശേഷം മാത്രമേ സമരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കൂ എന്ന് അറിയിച്ചെന്ന വാർത്തയും രാഹുൽ നിഷേധിച്ചു. സമരത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവാണ് നിർവഹിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് തനിക്ക് അറിയാമായിരുന്നെന്നും [02:15], പിന്നീട് താൻ പോയത് പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് ഇരിക്കുന്ന നിയമസഭയിലേക്കാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

Youth Congress leader Rahul Mankottathil has denied reports claiming he was ‘kicked out’ of the ASHA workers’ protest stage. He alleged that the news, widely circulated suggesting he was ejected from the demonstration, was fabricated by a few ‘mischievous journalists’ seeking to betray and sabotage the strike [00:13].

Early Departure for Train Journey:

Rahul clarified that following the decision to boycott the Assembly session, he had to catch a train back to Kerala to attend pre-scheduled programs on Saturday. He had requested the strike leaders to adjust the schedule so he could leave early to avoid missing his train time [00:34]. He mentioned that leaders like Sadashivan Mash, Mini Chechi, and Prema Chechi asked him to deliver a speech before leaving, but he chose to head to the railway station while the event was still underway [01:13]. It was on his way to the station that he saw the news claiming he was thrown out.

‘These Are My Mothers’:

He expressed his deep connection to the ASHA workers, referring to them as his ‘mothers’ [01:43]. He asserted that mothers would never kick out their children, nor would the children abandon the gathering. He criticized those journalists who are paid to cover up the government’s failings for spreading such misleading reports [02:34].

Denial of LoP Rumour:

Rahul also refuted another rumour suggesting that the Leader of the Opposition (LoP), V.D. Satheesan, would only attend the protest after he had left. He confirmed that he was aware the LoP was inaugurating the event [02:15] and that he later went to the Assembly, where the LoP was present.
